Health insurance is financial coverage for the costs from doctors, hospital visits, and prescriptions. Most insurance do not cover the entire invoice amounts. If you want to avoid the misery that medical bills can bring to your door step, please follow my advice. Without health insurance you need to pay more attention to your health and fitness. I have paid extra attention over the years to my health and level of fitness through a consistent program of vitamins/minerals and herbs; and for exercise: cycling, jogging, walking and weight lifting. I eat very little fast foods, and I abstain from all liquor and cigarettes. Many years ago, I took out of my daily diet all elements that might be harmful to my health. I am not talking about yesterday, but more than thirty years ago. I admit, that having health insurance does not guarantee anyone they will have a long and healthy life, and neither does not having it. So, why not live today as if you will live a long time, and let life decide otherwise. I have lived under this philosophy for many years, and at my age today, I reap the benefits every single day.
Here are 12 simple ways to keep yourself healthy, fit, and out of financial trouble as you try to live without health insurance:
1) Every day say a prayer of thanks for a new day, regardless of your current health condition, job status, or financial situation. If you don't like to pray, just say a brief thanks. It helps to get your day started on the right track.
2) Breathe deeply fresh air out of your bedroom window, the patio, or while you drive to work. Do open the car window, and take in the fresh air from outside.
3) Carry a squeeze ball in your car. Exercise your hands whenever you come to a stop light. Don't forget to hold the wheel with both hands when you drive.
4) Continue playing sports and other forms of physical activity. Don't stop because you may have run out of insurance. If you pay less attention to the problem, and live a normal but active life,
you may find that life treats you well.
5) Think health-conditioned thoughts the entire day, and you will learn to selects foods which are better for you.
6) Join a gym, if you have not done so, or implement a program of walking, jogging and weights.
7) Hydrate the body the entire day by drinking water regularly, and drink less coffee and soda pop.
8) Stop worrying so much, and live more. Worry has never added a single hour of life to anyone, and all that it can bring are ulcers and headaches. You want neither, so just go about your day as if it is
the greatest day ever.
9) Fear nothing! When fear disappears from your life, you will begin to sleep better. You will suffer less pain over things that you might have imagined. Again, fear nothing!
10) Find time during the day to bring some happiness to your life. Lift your life up, and be proud and happy for just being you!
11) Take vitamins consistently every day. Add a daily dose of Vitamin C, Echinacea, and Garlic to keep from getting too many colds and the flu.
12) Share your humanity with others by calling your family and friends more regularly, and cheer them up. It will do miracles for you and your loved ones. Volunteer work is great medicine for the soul.
May you enjoy peace, health, and harmony in your life.
I became an active participant of my health and fitness many years ago. It made sense to follow a strict regimen of exercise and diet while I worked in many locations around the world. I was employed in the oil industry for thirty years, and during some projects, I would work three weeks straight without weekend breaks. In the evenings I would jog, and visit the gym in the hotel where I stayed. I kept a check on my diet, and tried to eat all healthy foods and drink. In time, I developed a program that I have followed over the years that I called, "Health By Me!" My article on "12 Simple Ways..." takes parts of that program.
I hope that you enjoy the article as much as I had the pleasure of writing it. Best wishes,
